The Prophecy of the Coming of the Messiah in the Old Testament
The three religions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam, have prophesied the coming of the Messiah in almost the same way, and the believers in the three religions are waiting for him, and expecting his manifestation. This unity in waiting and expectation in itself demonstrates the basic unity in this Islam trinity – Judaism, Christianity and Islam – and indicates that they will be united in the future.
In the Old Testament, it said,
“1. And there shall come forth a shoot from the stock of Jesse, and branch out of his roots shall bear fruit;
2. And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;
3. And his delight shall be in the fear of the Lord; and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears;
4. But with equity for the meek of the earth; and shall smite with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
5. And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
6. And the wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid, the calf, and the young lion fatling together, and a little child shall lead them.
7. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together, and lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8. And the suckling child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the basilisk’s den.
9. They shall not hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the Knowledge of the Lord; as the water covers the seas.
10. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the root of Jesse, which standeth for an ensign of the peoples, unto him shall the nations seek; and his resting place shall be glorious” (Isaiah 11).
This prophecy in the Old Testament, on which the Jews have been waiting for the coming of the Messiah, requires belief in the first Messiah, and Mohamed, in order to complete the trinity from these three religions, whereupon the Final Messiah comes to unify the trinity in the final days, thereby inheriting the earth. That would be the achievement of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth, with the Final Messiah as the expected King, who is really the second Adam mentioned in the Koran ( the example of Christ with Allah is the same as Adam, He created him from earth and told him to be, and so he becomes.)
